SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP (SIG) MEETINGS - WELCOME!

We exist to support you, our members, and you have told us that what you need most is to keep learning and sharing experiences and best practice.

With this in mind, as well as our fortnightly members' meetings, we hold regular Special Interest Group meetings on the subjects you've told us you need to know more about.

These meetings have an expert presenter and plenty of opportunities for questions and discussion. They are always over subscribed but priority booking is given to members - you can find out when future meetings are being held in our members' newsletter which goes out every two weeks, and on follow up posts on twitter and facebook.

Here are some of the SIGS we have held since lockdown began:

May 21: The Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel First Annual Report 2018 – 2019 with AoCPP member and Independent Social Worker, Adrienne Plunkett.

June 22: Assessing Protectiveness in Child Protection The CASP-R Model of Assessment with Marcella Leonard of Leonard Consultancy

June 26:  Cultivating anti-discriminatory practice (ADP) within child protection and safeguarding with Jahnine Davis and Nick Marsh of Listenup Research
