For experienced professionals with responsibility for making or contributing to assessments of children and families where there are ongoing safeguarding concerns, including staff in children’s social care, health and education, expert witnesses, children’s guardians and independent social workers.

Delivered by AoCPP in partnership with Child and Family Training, the course will cover using the Safeguarding Assessment and Analysis Framework (SAAF), and is designed to assist professionals to make evidence-based assessments, decisions and plans in complex cases, including at child protection, pre-proceedings and court work stages. 

Participants will receive a SAAF user guide and a licence to use it in their work with children and families.
