Call for new Trustees We are looking to recruit 2-4 new trustees on to our brilliant Board. Our Trustees are critical to the functioning of AoCPP. They provide a range and depth of child protection practice and research experience, as well as enthusiasm and commitment to our aims. Trustees come from a range of backgrounds, but share a desire to be involved in the development of the charity and see it thrive in what are challenging times.The Board meets 4 times a year (two face to face meetings, and 2 via videoconference) and is responsible for the strategic direction of AoCPP as well as ensuring it is appropriately and legally managed. As well as a strong background in child protection practice or research, and a commitment to multidisciplinary working and linking practice and research in line with our values, we are also in particular looking for people with the following skills/experience/perspectives:PoliceEducation (0-18)Budgeting and financial managementFundraising/income generationCharity governanceTo be eligible for consideration you must be a member of AoCPP and able to demonstrate commitment to our aims and values, not disqualified from serving as a trustee, and have demonstrable child protection experience.
