On the 1st of November, to celebrate 40 years of the Association of Child Protection Professionals (formerly known as BASPCAN), we held a conference bringing together researchers and practitioners from all over the country to discuss issues of importance within child protection. It was a great opportunity to hear from those at the forefront of social work research, and those at the frontline of practice.
