Biography.
I am registered with UKPHR as a public health practitioner, which means I am committed to improve health services, health outcomes and to reduce health inequalities (where you are born should not dictate how long you live – (Marmot report Healthy lives, Healthy people 2010 ).
I work across justice partnerships at regional level influencing and informing health practice with colleagues from NHS E Health and Justice Commissioners, Prison Healthcare Managers, Health Practitioners and Prison managers supporting them, in what they are trying to do, in improving the health of people, who are not always able to speak for themselves.

Work
My membership is something I value as I work in academia, my knowledge and expertise is enhanced by the AoCPP community itself and the Child Abuse Review journal. I enjoy and receive great benefit from the opportunity to attend conference events and Congress to "tap into" cutting edge research and evidence of best practice nationally and internationally, all of which benefit the students on my teaching programmes and my own research and publications
