Child Abuse Review is seeking to appoint an Associate Editor with responsibility for the new Continuing Professional Development (CPD) section of the journal.

The CPD Section

Child Abuse Review has a long history of providing a practice-orientated focus, actively promoting practice-relevant research and facilitating the use of research findings to enhance good practice and influence policy. The new CPD section was launched in 2018 with the first articles being published in 2019.

CPD articles provide concise (2,000 words) distillations of the key learning points and implications for practice arising from recent research studies, and are intended to present the essentials of what practitioners/clinicians need to know about a particular area of practice. They should help readers to review and reflect on what they have learnt and may be used to provide evidence for the purposes of professional revalidation or accreditation.
