How we help Networking and Peer Support Practice Learning Reviews SIG Practice Learning Review SIG The purpose and aims of the Practice Learning Review Special Interest Group (PLR SIG) are to: enable discussion between professionals on the implications of Chapter 5 of Working Together 2018 promote the dissemination of good practice on implementation of Working Together 2018 requirements reflect on the impact of Chapter 5 (working Together 2018) on the improvement of learning from Case Reviews provide a forum for support and development of outputs from the learning and review process to enhance practice, and to share and promote examples of good practice reflect and understand decision-making in regard to commissioning of Serious Case Reviews/Practice Learning reviews (SCR), Adult Learning Reviews, Domestic Homicide Reviews (DHR), Child Death Reviews, and Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) Reviews provide a common understand of different roles within reviews provide supervision, opportunities for discussion and reflection from individuals that can provide different perspectives within the review process and to triangulate feedback from multiple processes e.g. research, feedback from tri-annual reviews critically challenge national policy and reflect on learning from National Panel The PLR SIG aims to: provide feedback to National Panel and influence change in the evolution of serious case review processes add to the existing pool of resources to inform improvements in practice develop a training resource for practitioners Chair: Adrian Spanswick You can download the full Terms of Reference here.
