Domestic violence is a common reason for families becoming involved with child protection services. This online session will explore a new approach to working with these families - one which acknowledges that not all domestic violence is the same. The session will also encourage practitioners and researchers to embrace complexity, challenge assumptions, and move toward practice which identifies and responds to the unique needs of each child and family.

What our members say

It has improved my knowledge and understanding about the range of harms caused to children and their impact as I have been able to network with a wide range of experts from the UK and beyond. There is no other multidisciplinary association for child protection professionals focused on learning to support and improve practice and policy
