Supporting Parents of Trans-Identified Children with Bayswater Support Group

Bayswater Support Group is a parental support group for over 500 parents of trans identified children across the U.K. and Ireland. They advocate for evidence based care for gender distressed/dysphoric children and adolescents and  work to educate public bodies about adolescent gender dysphoria. They provide practical online support for parents who are navigating their way through this issue. Their members come from all walks of life including teaching, the NHS, the law and the media.

Siobhan Williams, a member of the Bayswater Support Group, leads the discussion.

What our members say

It has improved my knowledge and understanding about the range of harms caused to children and their impact as I have been able to network with a wide range of experts from the UK and beyond. There is no other multidisciplinary association for child protection professionals focused on learning to support and improve practice and policy
