We exist to support you, our members, and you have told us that what you need most is to keep learning and sharing experiences and best practice.
With this in mind, as well as our fortnightly members' meetings, we hold regular free Special Interest Group meetings on the subjects you've told us you need to know more about. Our next is:
Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews in lockdown: management and boundaries
August 25th 1-2.30pm
BOOK HERE This meeting is for AoCPP members only. Why not join us now - our free trial membership offer ends on Aug 31st.
Chair: Adrian Spanswick MA RN RHV, Safeguarding Professional Lead, NHS England and NHS Improvement - Midlands
With Dr Catherine Powell - Child Safeguarding Consultant, former Consultant (Designated) Nurse Safeguarding Children and author of: "Safeguarding And Child Protection For Nurses, Midwives And Health Visitors: A Practical Guide."
"Covid-19 restrictions are proving challenging for CSPR reviewers/authors, who would normally undertake face to face meetings with families and hold practitioner event(s) to inform their review. Whilst there is certainly a role for virtual meetings (e.g. Panels) this form of contact for the above processes, does, we suggest, need careful management and boundaries."
Join us to share discussion, experiences and thoughts on what might constitute best practice.
